In 2018, Liu Binqing was still director Liu of the Wenzhou judicial department, but four years later, she is now a fifth-generation inheritor of her family's rice noodle-making techniques and is motivated not only by her family members but also the entire village to make a fortune from rice noodles.

"My mother took over the rice noodle business from my grandma, and now it's my turn to shoulder the responsibility," Liu said.

She is proud of and very familiar with the time-honored skills: "We have followed the traditional way of making rice noodles to make them chewy, suitable for boiling or frying, more nutritious, and tastier."

Liu made a cartoon image of her grandma and mother to use for the logo.

"They are just the original inspiration for my business," Liu said.

Liu was looked down upon by other villagers in the beginning, but her modest attitude and down-to-earth efforts have slowly won them over.
