A delegation from Kean University and New Jersey's public education sector recently visited Wenzhou for an exchange program aimed at fostering international collaboration in innovative education.
They were joined by representatives from the Wenzhou municipal education bureau and Wenzhou-Kean University. The group toured various campuses and participated in policy discussions to explore opportunities for deeper cooperation.
As part of the visit, Wenzhou-Kean University hosted the International Educational Leadership and Practice Forum on Oct 15. Participants from both countries engaged in in-depth discussions on cultivating global talent and fostering academic innovation.

Dr Lamont Repollet, president of Kean University, emphasized the importance of leadership and long-term vision in education, describing the forum as a platform for addressing shared global challenges.
Sancha Gray, senior vice-president for entrepreneurial education and dean of the College of Education, highlighted that the two universities have jointly trained 20 doctoral and 142 master's students over the past three years and will expand their partnership through future "travel-learn" initiatives.

The delegation also visited several local schools, including Wenzhou Foreign Languages Senior High School and Guoke UCAS No 1 Primary School, where they observed AI-assisted classrooms, interdisciplinary learning spaces, and localized STEM curricula.
Wenzhou-Kean University stated that it will continue to connect US-China educational resources and foster deeper partnerships in the future.
