Wuzhen Xizha scenic spot in Tongxiang, a county-level city in Jiaxing, East China's Zhejiang province, will reopen to the public on April 15, local media reported.

The scenic spot will limit the number of visitors to no more than 30 percent of its maximum daily capacity, and reservations must be made online in advance.

Public areas in Wuzhen Xizha will be disinfected three times a day, and all employees are required to wear masks at all times.

All hotels in Wuzhen Xizha will also resume operations in waves. Public areas must be disinfected three times a day, guest rooms ventilated before guests check in, and the source of food at the hotels needs to be tracked.

Wuzhen Dongzha scenic spot and Wu village resumed operations in late February, meaning all scenic spots in Wuzhen scenic area are now open to visitors.

Real-name reservations for sightseeing and accommodation in Wuzhen scenic area must be made in advance on the booking website www.ewuzhen.com  or travel service websites Ctrip and Meituan.

Tourists need to show the QR code of their purchased ticket, a green health QR code, personal identification, have their temperature taken and be wearing a mask before entering the Wuzhen scenic area and checking into a hotel.

Wuzhen is a historic town located in the north end of Tongxiang city. The 1,300-year-old town has been listed as a national 5A scenic spot and ranked among China's top 10 charming and famous towns. Wuzhen has a reputation for being one of the six ancient towns to the south of the Yangtze River.
