Jiaxing in East China's Zhejiang province recently received approval to establish two technical colleges from the Human Resources and Social Security Department of Zhejiang Province, local media reported on Feb 27.

Haining Technical College is a full-time technical college dedicated to cultivating application-oriented high-skilled professionals. The college will offer four majors, including engineering, design, and tourism.

Jiashan Technical College will be built based on the Jiashan Secondary Specialized School, and its first phase will cultivate senior workers, regular technicians, and senior technicians.
