The Jiashan International Talent Apartment Building in Jiashan county, Jiaxing, East China's Zhejiang province was put into use on July 16, local media reported.

With a total investment of 130 million yuan ($20.03 million), the building has 669 fully-furnished apartments that come in 13 configurations. The sizes of the apartments range from 42 square meters to 139 sq m.

The building also has a reception, a conference room, a reception room, a fitness room, a laundry, a 24-hour self service market, a bookstore, and a coffee shop.

In addition, the Jiashan No 2 Experimental Primary School, bilingual kindergartens and other high-end educational resources are located in the vicinity. High-end talents can also use the "green channel" at the nearby Jiashan First People's Hospital.

Among the first group of residents living in the building is a Spaniard named Cristian, who works for the ISTOBAL Vehicle Washing and Care Technology (Zhejiang) Co Ltd in Jiashan.

"I feel the environment is very user-friendly and I believe I'll live comfortably here. It will become another home of mine," said Cristian.

Foreign talents who receive a work permit in Jiashan can apply for the apartment via the Jiashan talent service and intelligent management platform or the cellphone application "浙里办".
