Jiaxing publishes measures to boost epidemic prevention and control

Jiaxing in East China's Zhejiang province has recently published measures to boost prevention and control of COVID-19, local media recently reported.

These measures mainly involve the streamlining of administrative service, major projects with heavy investment, the implementation of preferential policies, and the inspection of imported goods.

Government staff members have been dispatched to help solve the problems encountered by medium and small-sized companies in operation and these companies can also ask for help at an online service platform 96871.

A closed-loop management system has been created for 78 provincial projects worth more than 1 billion yuan ($156.85) and 647 municipal projects worth 100 million yuan.

Industrial parks for small and micro-size companies are be required to stabilize their daily operation while reinforcing their epidemic prevention and control efforts.

Industrial companies are also required to monitor and control the transportation, processing, and sales of imports as well as the health of personnel involved in these processes to avoid the outbreak of COVID-10.

As of 8 am on March 23, Jiaxing had reported 53 confirmed cases, including 40 cases in Pinghu and two cured cases.
