Thirty-five companies based in Jiaxing, East China's Zhejiang province, were recently included on the 2022 list of the Zheshang top 500 Chinese enterprises, local media reported on June 17.

In 2021, the aggregate operating revenue of the 500 enterprises reached 10.95 trillion yuan ($1.63 trillion), a year-on-year increase of 11.7 percent.

The revenue threshold to enter the list expanded from 1.16 billion yuan from 2020 to 1.25 billion yuan in 2021.

Tongkun Group, the highest ranked company in Jiaxing, ranked 20th on the list with a revenue of more than 110.9 billion yuan, followed by Xin Feng Ming Group and Zhenshi Group, with revenues of 74.98 billion yuan and 45.78 billion yuan in 2021, respectively.

A total of six companies in Jiaxing made the top 100 list, namely Tongkun Group, Xinfengming Group, Zhenshi Group, Zhejiang Huayou Cobalt Co Ltd, Starpower Semiconductor Ltd and Hoshine Silicon Industry Co Ltd. A total of 18 companies in Jiaxing ranked from 300th to 500th on the list, while a total of 11 companies ranked from 100th to 300th.
