The 2022 Zhejiang Jiaxing Export Online Fair for Central and Eastern Europe was held on Sept 21 in Jiaxing, Zhejiang province.

Representatives of governments and chambers of commerce from Hungary, Slovakia, Romania, Ukraine and other countries, 25 suppliers and foreign trade enterprises, and more than 60 overseas purchasers attended the fair both online and offline.

The eight-day online fair will display more than 800 samples, covering textile and clothing, mechanical and electrical products and electronic products, providing a new platform for enterprises in Jiaxing and Central and Eastern Europe to carry out cooperation.

According to official data, in 2021 the value of the city’s imports and exports to Central and Eastern Europe countries reached 12.48 billion yuan ($1.72 billion), up 30.4 percent year-on-year. Exports were 11.30 billion yuan, an increase of 32 percent year-on-year.
