The Zhejiang Enterprise Federation, the Zhejiang Provincial Entrepreneurs Association and the Zhejiang Provincial Industrial Economy Federation recently released their lists of the 2022 Zhejiang Top 100 Enterprises, including the 2022 Zhejiang Comprehensive Top 100 Enterprises, the 2022 Zhejiang Top 100 Manufacturing Enterprises, the 2022 Zhejiang Top 100 service enterprises and the 2022 Zhejiang Top 100 Fastest Growing Enterprises.

Seven Jiaxing-based enterprises made the list of the 2022 Zhejiang Top 100 Manufacturing Enterprises. The entry threshold for the list expanded 48.9 percent to 11.87 billion yuan ($1.63 billion) this year. The growth rates of operating revenue, total profit and total assets were 22.7 percent, 30.47 percent and 14.80 percent, respectively.

The entry threshold of the top 100 enterprises in the service industry was 2.6 billion yuan, an increase of 53.25 percent over the previous year. One Jiaxing enterprise was on the list.

The pace of scientific and technological innovation in Zhejiang province was accelerated. The R&D expenses of the comprehensive top 100 enterprises increased by 21.48 percent, and the average R&D investment exceeded 1.9 billion yuan. Eighty-two companies held patents, an increase of 21.75 percent, and the average number of patents held by each company reached 1,252.
