The Yangtze River Delta G60 Science & Technology Innovation Valley Photovoltaic Industry High Quality Development Conference was held in Jiaxing on Nov 18, focusing on the green low carbon new economy.
As the venue of the conference, Jiaxing has achieved good development results in the photovoltaic industry and has been striving to assist the country's efforts to achieve its carbon peak and neutrality goals.
In 2021, the total industrial output value of the city's enterprises above designated size in the photovoltaic industry exceeded 50.52 billion yuan ($7.06 billion), accounting for one-third of the total output value of the province's photovoltaic industry.
In addition, Jiaxing has always been at the forefront of distributed photovoltaic construction in China, and a number of leading enterprises in the photovoltaic industrial chain, such as Flat, Jinko and Zhengtai, have emerged in the city.
