The Hangzhou Airport (Jiaxing) Comprehensive Bonded Area Cargo Terminal, the first off-site freight station in northern Zhejiang, was established on Nov 23, according to local media reports.

The cargo terminal, jointly established by Jiaxing Cross-border E-commerce Service Co Ltd and Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport Aviation Logistics Co Ltd, will facilitate the high-quality development of Jiaxing's cross-border e-commerce.

The "cross-border e-commerce plus cargo terminal" model is an innovative measure to promote the development of cross-border e-commerce in Jiaxing. The model will allow for data docking and logistics service interconnection between cargo stations and the Hangzhou Airport cargo station through digital land-air transportation.

The cargo terminal will use the physical supervision station of the Jiaxing cross-border e-commerce comprehensive pilot zone to ship goods, extend airport air cargo transport services to all regions of Jiaxing, and help freight forwarders and cargo owners handle business nearby.

Jiaxing Cross-border E-commerce Service Co Ltd located in the logistics park in Xiuzhou district, Jiaxing, is home to an 8,000-square-meter Jiaxing cross-border e-commerce supervision center featuring a supervision warehouse, inspection and sorting line with an X-ray machine and a CT machine, and an information service system.
