The three-day 2022 China Jiaxing Fastener Industry Expo commenced at the Jiaxing International Convention & Exhibition Center in Jiaxing, Zhejiang province on Nov 30.

The exhibition area is about 20,000 square meters in size and features nearly 1,000 booths, attracting 386 domestic and foreign exhibitors and 5,000 buyers.

This year's expo is being held both onsite and online, and exhibits include fasteners, new material fasteners, fastener raw materials, electric products and tools, mechanical and electrical equipment, digital industrial equipment, automotive fasteners, key parts of new energy vehicles and automotive design systems.

Since its inception in 2011, the expo has been held in Jiaxing for 11 years. Last year, the expo's three-day turnover reached 484 million yuan ($69.37 million).

In addition, two online export commodity fairs of the China Jiaxing Fastener Industry Expo will be held during the exhibition, inviting foreign buyers from Dubai, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Iran and other Middle Eastern countries to negotiate with exhibitors.

From January to October, the total value of imports and exports of fastener products in the city was $1.75 billion, a year-on-year growth of 18.48 percent. The export value was $1.7 billion, up 18.71 percent year-on-year, while the import value exceeded $54.37 million, a year-on-year increase of 11.88 percent.

The city's fasteners are exported to countries and regions all over the world, especially to the Europe Union, the United States, Russia and ASEAN.
