Thirty-six foreign trade enterprises in Tongxiang, Jiaxing, Zhejiang province will soon send delegations to Dubai to seek orders, local media reported on Dec 12.

This trip, led by the Tongxiang people's government, is the first time the city has organized a group to expand into overseas markets in the past three years.

For this trip, Hu Qingping, manager of the foreign trade department of Tongkun Group, plans to visit regular customers and develop new customers in addition to participating in exhibitions.

"The products we will take to the exhibition include not only familiar polyester filament, but also batik cloth, curtain cloth, bedding and other fabric products. We can show the complete industrial chain of our company in a very comprehensive way, and we believe that we will win over new customers," said Hu.

"One meeting is worth a thousand emails," said an official of the Tongxiang commerce bureau. Optimized COVID-19 prevention and control measures give enterprises the opportunity to grab orders overseas, and Tongxiang will continue to arrange for more enterprises to go overseas to expand into overseas markets.
