As the Paris Olympics draw nearer, the Paris Olympic Village was recently handed over to the Paris Organizing Committee and is ready to welcome over 14,000 athletes and staff during the Games.

The village is made up of about 3,000 apartments, each equipped with beds, coffee tables and more. One that stands out is a blue lazy sofa, produced by Rayri Hometextile (Jiaxing) Co Ltd, a company located in Tongxiang. This is a remarkable feat for Tongxiang craftsmanship.

Fei Zhongfu, chairman of Rayri Hometextile, expressed palpable excitement over the accomplishment.

Previously, at an exhibition in Frankfurt last year, a chance encounter with a client led to an order. Little did they know, this client had previously supplied home products for the Tokyo Olympics, which eventually paved the way for Rayri Hometextile to participate in the bidding process for the Paris Olympic Village.

Out of three competing companies, Rayri Hometextile emerged victorious, delivering 3,000 high-quality lazy sofas to the Olympic Village. Meeting stringent environmental and safety standards, these products exceeded global expectations.

The company's meticulous attention to detail extended to recycling sponge scraps for filling materials and selecting fabrics with superior waterproofing and flame retardancy properties, akin to yacht-grade materials.
