Fsilon Home Building Materials Co Ltd has embarked on a journey to global prominence, forging a partnership with the renowned American design team Firewatch, known for their work on Hollywood hits like Star Wars and Superman.

The connection with Firewatch was serendipitous, stemming from a chance meeting between the company's vice-president, Fan Zheyun, and Chen Majun of the Zhejiang Tsinghua Yangtze River Delta Research Institute at a training program. This encounter led to multiple visits by Firewatch to Fsilon, the former being impressed by the latter’s innovative materials, culminating in a preliminary $5 million contract.

Fsilon, a leader in integrated home furnishings in Haiyan county, Jiaxing, Zhejiang province, has shifted its focus from domestic dominance to international expansion.

This collaboration with American counterparts represents Fsilon's maiden voyage into foreign markets, aiming to establish 25 global outlets and achieve $10 million in revenue this year.

Haishan's proactive initiatives, including executive training programs and overseas exhibition centers, have facilitated the international exposure of local enterprises, with a notable 13.2 percent increase in import and export volume last year.

Looking ahead, Haiyan aims to intensify its foreign trade efforts, planning for over 360 companies to exhibit abroad and targeting a foreign trade return of over 1 billion yuan ($138.14 million). Haiyan is also poised to achieve a 30 percent increase in cross-border e-commerce exports in 2024.
