Jiaxing enterprises have been gearing up for the 7th China International Import Expo (CIIE), which will open in Shanghai on Nov 5. So far, 6,000 buyers from Jiaxing have registered, and many companies have formed exhibition teams and compiled procurement lists in anticipation of significant purchases.

Jiaxibera Compressor Co Ltd, for instance, is busy upgrading its production lines due to increased European orders and China's appliance replacement program. Jiaxibera's partnership with Japan's Nachi-Fujikoshi began at the first CIIE, and it has since purchased nearly $20-million-worth of robots. This year, the company plans to buy 10 more units to boost production efficiency.

Sanzhenzhai, a 170-year-old brand in Jiaxing, is focusing on food and agricultural products. It aims to procure rice and pork for its traditional zongzi, targeting the Southeast Asian market.

The CIIE has become a crucial platform allowing Jiaxing companies to acquire advanced technologies and high-quality products. Jiaxing's trade delegation has secured over $1.9 billion in procurement deals at previous expos, and this year promises to continue the strong trend, enhancing Jiaxing's industrial and commercial capabilities.
