Longquan, a county-level city in Lishui in East China's Zhejiang province, is famous for its intangible cultural heritages of celadon and swords.

The Longquan Celadon and Sword Technician College was included in the list of national highly skilled personnel training bases in 2019 which was released recently by the general offices of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and the Ministry of Finance.

In recent years, the college has made full use of the three provincial-level regional science and technology innovation service centers of Longquan celadon, Longquan sword and Longquan automobile air conditioning parts, and continuously improved its social service ability.

According to officials, there is an urgent need to cultivate highly skilled personnel with the "craftsman spirit" and exquisite skills to achieve high-quality economic and social development, accelerate industrial optimization and upgrading, and enhance the core competitiveness of enterprises in Longquan.

At present, the college has built six training bases and an innovation and entrepreneurship park. Its electromechanical training base and celadon craft training base are provincial demonstration training bases.
