Yanqing Temple Pagoda is a national key cultural relic protection unit. It was built during the Northern Song Dynasty.

No trace of historical repairs has been found from the structure of the pagoda to the eaves of the wooden structure. It is the most complete preserved Song Dynasty pagoda in Jiangnan (the area along the south bank of the Yangtze River) and is known as "rare treasure in Jiangnan". It provides important material for the study of Chinese ancient architectural craft.
