The 3rd Overseas Chinese Imported Commodities Expo & Qingtian Imported Wine Trade Fair concluded on Nov 16 at Qingtian Imported Commodity City – in Qingtian county, administered by Lishui city in East China's Zhejiang province – according to the local media.

This year, about 800 import wine enterprises from home and abroad, as well as more than 5,000 professional buyers, participated in the expo.

Despite the global market uncertainties caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the value of deals written up at the expo hit 2.9 billion yuan ($442 million), a 16.6 percent year-on-year increase.

In recent years, centering on its mission for "importing from all over the world and selling to all parts of the country", Qingtian Imported Commodity City has done business with 264 overseas Chinese enterprises in commerce, involving more than 70,000 commodities from over 70 countries, forming a large-scale "world supermarket".

As a dynamic channel for global commerce, the 3rd Overseas Chinese Imported Commodities Expo has set itself up an efficient platform for international trade and investment, local officials said.
