Fenglu, a traditional stove used to boil tea, is used as a food container in Suichang. The Fenglu Feast is like the Suichang-version of a hot pot. All the locally produced fresh ingredients such as bighead carp, winter bamboo shoots, winter radishes and pork, can be used in the Fenglu Feast.

Locals say that the number of Fenglu on the table when people entertain guests reflects their degree of hospitality.
