Covering a total area of 40,000 square meters, a new park opened on May 30 in Suichang county – administered by Lishui city in East China's Zhejiang province – making it the first comprehensive, multi-function recreational park in the region.
Called Weilai Park or Future Park and costing more than 28 million yuan ($4.4 million), the establishment of the park started at the end of September 2020.
It integrates multiple functions including sports facilities, leisure activities for the elderly, as well as things to do for children's recreation and parent-child activities.
The park also comes equipped with a smart vertical parking lot and public and commercial buildings.
More than 2,000 people visited on the morning of the opening day.
