Every day, over 100,000 boxes are sent to places all over the country. The Wecome Qingchang pill, as one of its leading products, is made by the manufacturer from two traditional Chinese medicines – honeysuckle and scutellaria baicalensis – and is good for relieving dry coughs and fevers for infected people.

The original daily output of the medicine was about 50,000 boxes. But through the redeployment of production personnel, equipment and shifts, it has now reached 180,000 boxes, said by Wecome executive president Wu Jianming.

Wu added that the company's production line has been working 24/7 since the start of November, with all management personnel joining the front line and working with workers, trying to fully meet the demand.

The medicine uses modern pharmaceutical technology to make it easy for patients to carry it about and take as they need it.

To date, it has been issued with six national invention patents and it was selected as one of the most popular star products in retail pharmacies in 2022.
