There was excitement as a global premiere of an eight-episode culture and tourism documentary called Let's Go to Lishui took place in Lishui city – in East China's Zhejiang province – on Jan 11.

With exquisite pictures and vivid language, the documentary presented Lishui's unique charms in an all-round way.

The series was filmed for almost one year. Through an in-depth exploration of the culture and tourism resources in Lishui's nine administrative regions, the city's landscape, culture, history, food and folk customs are well presented.

"I was honored to take part in the filming. The city is incredible and I had a great time there," said Benjamin, one of the three foreign hosts of the series.

He also shared his experiences – including drinking coffee in Qingtian county and riding a motorcycle through the mountains of Jingning – at the premiere.

"I hope I can bring my family and friends to Lishui soon," Benjamin added.

Starting on Jan 12, the Let's Go to Lishui series will be broadcast globally on ZTV World, ZTV News and Zhejiang Xinlan Network. It will be shown in the United States, Canada, France, Australia, New Zealand and in other countries.
