The event, organized by Zhejiang's information office and the International Communications Office of Zhejiang Provincial Party Committee, is intended to be a platform for foreigners to make in-depth trips to Zhejiang's villages, encouraging them to capture the beauty of the province and spread it on international social media like Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.

Aside from offline activities, the event also encourages expats in China, overseas Chinese, and international netizens to share their self-directed short videos about Zhejiang via email. There will be several prizes prepared for the most attractive videos.

Some requirements for the short videos:

1. The videos are expected to show the beauty of Zhejiang. The features of the villages, towns, handicrafts, and cuisines are preferred.

2. Participants or their friends should make on-camera appearances in videos.

3. The videos are required to be dubbed in English or participants' mother tongues.

4. The videos should be shorter than 60 seconds.
