Serbian shooting star Zorana Arunovic showed her enduring skill and deep appreciation for China during the 2025 ISSF World Cup in Ningbo, Zhejiang province.
Competing in the women's 10m air pistol event, she advanced to the finals as the seventh-ranked qualifier and finished sixth.
In an interview with reporters from Ningbo Daily, Arunovic expressed her admiration for China and her excitement about visiting Ningbo for the first time, recalling previous stays in Shenzhen, Guangdong province, and her attendance at national competitions in Nanjing, Jiangsu province. She highlighted the impressive performance of Chinese shooters and praised the event's organization.
The seasoned Olympian reflected on her Paris Games victory in the 10m air rifle mixed team event, noting the emotional comeback alongside her teammate that secured their gold medal after four Olympic cycles of preparation. During the interview, attention turned to the panda-themed items she carries, which she hopes to pair with a future visit to Sichuan province to see pandas in person.
