National Library showcases Xiangshan's 6,000-year fishery history
Xiangshan county, literally "Elephant Mountain" is the domestic only state-level oceanic fisheries culture ecological protection zone in Ningbo, Zhejiang province. It showcased its abundance of cultural heritages and development fruits at the National Museum of Classic Books from June 28 to July 4.

The exhibition, jointly sponsored by the National Library of China and Xiangshan county people's government, includes three parts that display local oceanic fisheries culture, intangible cultural heritages and leisure life.
Exceeding 6,000 years of fishery production, Xiangshan has formed featured oceanic fisheries culture which refers to the achievements of social practices in fields of production and life bred from the natural marine environment.
