People in Lishan, a village inhabited by the She ethnic group, were busy preparing for the upcoming Spring Festival by making special dishes and writing Spring Festival couplets.
Located in Lishui city, Zhejiang province, Lishan village enjoys a history of more than 300 years. It is designated as a national 3A scenic spot due to the beautiful natural sceneries and unique She culture.
Hui-styled architectures are dispersed around the village in a well-arranged manner. The totem of She people can be found on the walls everywhere. There are also groups of women in ethnic costumes making special tofu while singing songs.
As Spring Festival approaches, tourists in Lishan can enjoy the festive atmosphere by experiencing the local customs, rural culture and entertainments and specialties with She characteristics.
