Romanian capital hosts Zhejiang movie week of China for film lovers

Teatrelli Hall in downtown Bucharest hosted the opening ceremony of the third Zhejiang Movie Week of China on May 4 in Bucharest, capital of Romania.

"Films give the opportunity for people to learn more about each other in a direct way," said Tian Yuyuan, chief of the Chinese delegation who represents the Federation of Literary and Art Circles and the Film Artists Association of Zhejiang province.

In April 2013, the first Zhejiang Movie Week was held in Bucharest, and in June 2014, the second edition took place. For this third one, the delegation presented five films produced in East China's Zhejiang province.

"China is currently the second biggest cinema market in the world. This event is part of the effort to revamp the relations between China and Romania in the film industry," said Bobby Paunescu, a Romanian film director and producer
