Zhejiang companies shine at World Intelligence Congress

Zhejiang University, a leading Chinese university, showcased the most advanced intelligent technologies in Tianjin as well, including small robots able to compete in a football match with quick, light and agile movements, and a kind of driverless car with the ability of map building.

Jack Ma, chairman of Alibaba Group, a Hangzhou-headquartered tech giant, gave a speech at the main forum of the congress. He pointed out that in the next five to 10 years, there will be dramatic changes in AI industries, and Alibaba will strive to keep up to date with the latest trends and developments.

According to a report released at the 2nd WIC, Zhejiang ranks third in China in term of the development of the intelligence sector, after Beijing and Guangzhou.
