Wenzhou, US Kean University boost academic ties

A delegation from Kean University in New Jersey, United States, led by its president Dawood Farahi, visited Wenzhou-Kean University in Wenzhou, East China's Zhejiang province, on June 5, to further cement academic ties between the two sides.
Che Jun, Party chief of Zhejiang province, received the delegation and briefed Farahi on the work the university has been doing to foster international cooperation and communication.
He said that Wenzhou-Kean University, as the result of solid ties between China and the state of New Jersey, is taking a central role in the educational development of Zhejiang. The province would leave no stone unturned to deepen cooperation with its US counterpart and build Wenzhou-Kean University into a high-level international university.
Farahi also expressed his desire for the two sides to continue academic cooperation in the future.
