A 14-meter dragon boat built by Hangzhou Qiandaohu Peisheng Boat Co Ltd in Chun'an county, Zhejiang province, for Chinese-Australian boating enthusiast Wang Jiaojiao, recently made its debut in Sydney, Australia.

The boat competed in a race in Australia's largest city after a 15-day journey from home.

The proud recipient of such an extraordinary gift from her home country, Wang said she would race with the boat so people from all over the world can experience and learn more about Chinese traditional dragon boats.

"The dragon boat, which is fast and flexible, is better than we expected," said Wang's coach.
