A delegation of academic experts from the United States visited Tiantai Mountain, East China's Zhejiang province, from June 12 to 14, to learn more about local religious culture and the Chinese philosophy of harmony.

The delegation was made up of 11 scholars from well-known universities in the United States, including Princeton University, Columbia University and the State University of New York.

During the three-day tour, the delegation visited several  attractions, including Tongbai Palace, one of the Taoist temples on Tiantai Mountain, Guoqing Temple, a Buddhist temple, and a local museum themed on the Chinese philosophy of harmony, where they gained a deeper insight into the history and traditional culture of Tiantai Mountain.
