An exhibition featuring art craft from Lishui, Zhejiang province was held in Ulaanbaatar, capital of Mongolia on July 25.

A total of 32 pieces of Longquan Celadon, Longquan Sword and Qingtian Stone Carving, three art treasures of Lishui and items included in the first group of China's intangible cultural heritages, were on display.

Xing Haiming, Chinese Ambassador to Mongolia, addressed the opening of the exhibition, saying the two countries had a consensus that cultural exchanges were an important part of China-Mongolia relations and the art exhibition of Lishui's handicrafts was an embodiment of the idea.

"The two countries are jointly developing the China-led Belt and Road Initiative and Mongolia's Development Road strategy," said Xing, "The exhibition will help boost our people-to-people exchanges." He also extended an invitation to Mongolian artists to showcase their culture in China.

During the exhibition, artists from Lishui donated six pieces of handicrafts to Mongolia's national museum. Also, some exhibits will be auctioned to buy cochlear implants for deaf-mute children in this country.
