A four-day exhibition on Zhejiang's print culture drew to an end at China Culture Center in the French capital, Paris, on Dec 21.
Hosted by China Culture Center and Zhejiang's culture and tourism department, and organized by Zhejiang Library, the exhibition demonstrated traditional print art in the East China province through videos, display boards and printed books.
The exhibition displayed replicas of ancient books, presented the exchanges on print art between China and France, and showcased the inheritance and promotion of time-honored printing techniques in today's society.
The event also provided chances for visitors to try their hands at block printing and bookbinding.
Xu Jie, Party secretary of Zhejiang Library, addressed the opening of the exhibition and introduced the organization of the event, explaining the province is of great significance in China's printing history.
