The China-Italy Fashion Summit kicked off in E-Fashion Town in Yuhang district of Hangzhou, Zhejiang province on June 24, attracting over 20 fashion experts and representatives from China and Italy.
E-Fashion Town, located in the Yuhang district, features an increasingly robust fashion industry and is now home to a number of renowned designers and fashion brands.
"I have been to China many times, and what attracts most is the rapid development of technology. The application of technology in the fashion industry is very inspiring to me," said Riccardo Braccialini, president of Italy's Leather Manufacturers Association, adding that E-Fashion Town will serve as a bridge to fuel fashion cooperation and exchange between China and Italy.
Roze Merie Cuevas, a Canadian designer and the founder of the fashion brand JAC, came to E-Fashion Town in 2016. Since then, JAC has developed rapidly and now has 110 resident brand stores across the world.
"The preferential policies, quality service and sound fashion ecology provided by the town make me feel right at home," said Cuevas.
