An exchange activity to boost the friendship of young people in China and Central and Eastern European Countries (CEEC) was held in Ningbo from July 4 to 7.
The 2019 China-Central and Eastern Europe Youth Campus, hosted by the All-China Youth Federation, was attended by nearly 80 young talents from CEEC.
These young talents studied the local motor industry and the construction of the new countryside in Ningbo, showing Ningbo's sound business environment. They also visited Ningbo-Zhoushan Port, Tianyige Museum and China Port Museum, where they learned about the cultural background of the city.Song Yueshun, deputy Party chief of Ningbo, extended a warm welcome to the young people who attended this exchange activity.
Ningbo, as a supporter of the Belt and Road Initiative, hopes young talents can learn more about the city during this exchange activity. The city welcomes young talents who regard it as a good choice for future development and sharing the dividends of the city's high-quality development, said Song.
The idea of holding China-Central and Eastern Europe Youth Campus was proposed at the 5th Summit of China and Central and Eastern European Countries. It aims to help foreign friends from CEEC learn more about China. The event is larger and broader this year than in previous years and has attracted young talents from all walks of life across CEEC, including Greece, a newcomer to the China-CEEC friendship circle.
