Zhejiang has also played an important role in building a beautiful China. The Green Rural Revival Program is a successful practice of implementing the concept that "lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets" in rural areas. In September 2018, the program was recognized with a "Champions of the Earth Award", the United Nations' highest environmental honor. Nowadays, every little step in building beautiful countryside and towns is making a miracle, and efforts of building Zhejiang into a grand garden have made the province renowned.

Houchen village in Wuyi county, Jinhua is committed to full disclosure of Party affairs, village affairs and financial situation review and has subjected itself to supervision. Fengqiao town in Zhuji, Shaoxing plays its trump card by relying on the general public to solve primary level contradictions themselves in improving social safety. In today's Zhejiang, people's satisfaction rate for social safety has reached 96.8 percent, making it one of the safest provinces with the highest social equity index.
