The second session of the China-Kazakhstan Economic and Social Studies Forum was held at the academic center of Zhejiang University of Finance and Economics on Oct 19.

As one of the academic activities to be dedicated to the 45th anniversary of the university, the forum focused on "China-Kazakhstan Economic and Social Cooperation: Opportunities and Challenges in the New Era".

More than 60 research experts and scholars, as well as representatives from over 20 well-known enterprises attended the forum, including representatives from the Consulate General of Kazakhstan in Shanghai, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Central University of Finance and Economics, and Zhejiang International E-commerce Holdings Co.

Li Zhanrong, vice-president of Zhejiang University of Finance and Economics, pointed out that the university has made remarkable achievements in deepening exchange and cooperation with Kazakhstan over the years by actively implementing the Belt and Road Initiative.
