Yiwu import fair to take advantage of CIIE

Yiwu in Zhejiang province kicked off an autumn fair for imported commodities on Nov 13 to expand the influence of the second China International Import Exposition (CIIE) which recently concluded in Shanghai.

The fair covers an area of nearly 5,000 square meters and exhibits a wide array of commodities, including food and drink, cosmetics, household supplies, and healthcare products.

The 15-day event has attracted 407 exhibitors from 57 countries and regions, including the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Canada, Russia, and India.

Exhibitors include 20 enterprises who participated in CIIE.

The host venue, Yiwu China Imported Commodities Mall, covers an area of 120,000 square meters at 1566 Xuefengxi Road and sells over 150,000 imported products from over 100 countries and regions.

It houses stores run by e-commerce platforms JD.com and NetEase Kaola as well as national pavilions of 35 countries and regions, including Spain, Italy, Germany, and South Korea.
