A digital platform developed by Alibaba was recently put into use throughout Zhejiang province to help companies resume work safely and efficiently.

The platform, which is essentially an upgraded version of the previous health code system, coordinates the government, companies, and employees.

Companies can obtain a health code through DingTalk, a mobile work platform developed by Alibaba. By scanning the code, employees can see their own personal health codes and daily health records, and can enter the workplace only if their codes and health records are normal.

If authorized by employees, company administrators can also check their employees' health codes and daily health records on DingTalk.

In addition, employees can clock in and out of the platform via wifi, GPS, or bluetooth, rather than having to leave a fingerprint on an attendance machine, helping reduce the chances of infection.
