The organizing committee of the 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games held a meeting on selecting hotels to provide official reception services on April 29.
The meeting was attended by representatives from the organizing committee, hotels, and media organizations.
Officers briefed attendees on the spatial layout of the stadiums for the Asian Games and the criteria for choosing hotels for official accommodation services.
Members of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA), athletes, journalists, and technical officers are eligible for the accomodation services.
The organizing committee plans to choose no more than 70 official hotels across Hangzhou (excluding Jiande, a county-level city in Hangzhou).
There will be no more than two hotels designated for official services in Qiantang New Area, Yuhang district, Fuyang district, Tonglu county, and Chun’an county, respectively.
The hotels will range from three to five stars, and will be reviewed by the organizing committee of the Hangzhou Asian Games and OCA.
According to the organizing committee, hotels designated for official reception services may be removed from the list of official hotels if they fail to meet standards.
The deadline for hotels to apply as official hotels for the games is May 9, 2020. For details, please visit the official website of the organizing committee of the Hangzhou Asian Games at https://www.hangzhou2022.cn/En/ .
