100 additional trains to run in YRD during Dragon Boat Festival

One hundred additional trains will run in the Yangtze River Delta (YRD) region during the upcoming Dragon Boat Festival to ease traffic congestion, according to local railway authorities.

On June 24 and 25, the trains will include D905/D906 from Shanghai to Shenzhen North, D935/D936 from Shanghai Hongqiao to Guangzhou South, D941/D942 from Shanghai Hongqiao to Zhuhai, and D931/D932 from Shanghai Hongqiao to Guangzhou South.

On June 24 and 27, they will include G7096/G7095 from Shanghai to Wuxi, G7097/G7098 from Nanjing to Shanghai, G7118/G7125 from Shanghai Hongqiao to Nanjing, G7519/G7524 from Shanghai Hongqiao to Ningbo, D5403/D5404 from Shanghai South to Zhuji, D5647/D5648 from Nanjing South to Wuhu, D554/D5553 from Nanjing to Nantong, K8497/K8498 from Hefei to Wuhu, and K8596 from Hefei to Huaibei.

Other trains include G7034/G7047 from Shanghai to Nanjing and G7035/G7038 from Nanjing to Shanghai, which will run on June 28, G7208 from Shanghai to Suzhou on June 27 and 29 (to run seven trips), D5646 from Ma’anshan East to Nanjing South on June 28, G7203 from Suzhou to Shanghai, and G7215 from Kunshan South to Shanghai.
