Countdown for Zhejiang's 'two sessions' begins
Zhejiang authorities hosted a press conference for the province's upcoming "two sessions" in the provincial capital of Hangzhou on Jan 22.
The "two sessions" refer to the annual meetings of lawmakers and political advisors discussing economic and social development over the past year, as well as making plans for the year to come.
According to the press conference, the preparation for the "two sessions" has been almost completed.
The fifth session of the 13th Zhejiang Provincial People's Congress will be held in Hangzhou from Jan 26 to 30, during which deputies to the congress will review and vote on the synopsis for the province's 14th Five-Year Plan (2021-2025) and the long-term development goals to achieve by 2035.
The fourth session of the 12th Zhejiang Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference is set to be held in Hangzhou from Jan 25 to 29.
