Amazon to open e-commerce training center in Hangzhou

Hangzhou in Zhejiang province will work with Amazon China in training Chinese sellers, according to Cindy Tai, vice-president of Amazon China, on Sept 17.

Accordingly, Amazon Global Selling, the e-commerce giant's program that involves global sellers, will help upgrade the Hangzhou Cross-Border E-Commerce Park with Amazon's first training center for sellers in the world.

The e-commerce park was opened by Amazon China in April 2019 to help retailers expand their business globally.

Cindy said the center will offer multilingual courses to sellers in the Asian-Pacific region and serve over one million trainees in three years. She also noted that the Hangzhou team of Amazon Global Selling will be expanded by six times to support local companies.
