The third China-Africa Economic and Trade Cooperation & Development Shaoxing Summit was held in Shaoxing, East China's Zhejiang province on Oct 24.

Representatives of over 20 African countries gathered in the city to share ideas on the topic of "Africa & Shaoxing: Join hands for a shared future."

Local authorities said Shaoxing is an important city along the Belt and Road. A total of 28 African companies have investments in the city and local companies are investing in 21 African countries.
