Keqiao Base for Textile Industrial Innovation in Keqiao district, Shaoxing, East China's Zhejiang province, was recently included in the list of Textile Clothing Innovation Design Demonstration Parks by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.

The base assembles textile clothing companies which focus on development and innovative design of textile clothing.

The base is currently home to 150 textile design companies and 1,221 design professionals.

This year, the business revenue of the companies in the base is expected to hit 351 million yuan ($55 million), a year-on-year increase of nearly 8.4 percent.

The base was first recognized as a piloted demonstration park by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology in 2017. With over four years of development, the base stood out from 54 piloted demonstration parks to win the official title.
