Deputies to the congress and members of the CPPCC Zhejiang committee who are entrepreneurs or economists have been particularly impressed by two achievements listed in the provincial government report delivered on Jan 17 at the annual session of the Zhejiang Provincial People's Congress: Zhejiang authorities relieved enterprises of 250 billion yuan ($39.4 billion) in taxation and fees in 2021, and the exempted amount would increase to 300 billion yuan in 2022.

Two deputies to the congress, Zhou Zhijiang and Wu Changhong, as well as two members of the CPPCC Zhejiang committee, Yao Lijun and Guo Xingang, shared their views on Zhejiang's business-friendly policies at the two sessions.
