The 2022 Ningbo International Tourism Exhibition is scheduled to be held in Ningbo, Zhejiang province, from Aug 19 to 21, according to the local tourism department.

Since its inception in 2014, the exhibition has grown to be one of the most influential tourism exhibitions in China. It serves as an important platform to raise the city's tourism profile, boost tourism consumption and promote industry exchanges.

This year, the exhibition will have 800 booths across 16,000 square meters of exhibition space, the organizers said. Products related to tourism, weddings and outdoor travel will be showcased at the event.

In addition, some activities including a food fiesta featuring delicacies from across Zhejiang will be staged on the sidelines of the expo. 

The local government will also issue coupons worth 1 million yuan ($153,846) which can be used for cultural and tourism products during the event.
