Shaoxing's Keqiao district recently launched a WeChat mini-program to better protect copyrights related to the pattern designs of textile products.

The program, the first of its kind in East China's Zhejiang province, was developed by the Keqiao District People's Court.

Users can upload pictures to the platform, which would inform them of whether their designs infringe upon the copyrights of others.

The program is open to all merchants from the city, according to an official at the Keqiao District People's Court.

Keqiao is a global textile product manufacturing and trading hub. The trading volume of textile products in the district accounts for a quarter of the world's total, official statistics show.
