Piano educator Ye Lin has dedicated herself to developing teaching methods that allow children to acquire skills of piano playing and music theories more effectively.
Born in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province, in 1983, Ye started learning piano at 3 years old. She studied from Ding Lanren, president of Hangzhou Pianists' Association, and Chen Yanxin from Shanghai Conservatory of Music.
She later studied piano pedagogy from professor Zhou Wei of Shanghai Conservatory of Music and devoted herself to developing a set of piano pedagogy aimed at children.
"I hope to bring more advanced piano teaching methods to every child with an interest in piano, so that all these children can receive a better education and that piano music can become a language that connects the world," Ye says.
